Very good training for freshers at initial level and also good organizational development programs for experienced people.
Good infrastructure, canteen facilities and good food, very good career growth and recognition.
As people rise up in the ladder they will get a lot of respect and responsibilities, they can really learn a lot about banking in various dimensions.
Strong organization structure which they call as 'china wall' but I compare it to 'Mafia organization structure'(not in a negative way) as it helps to keep track of information, command and work flow better and it helps the management to easily locate the problems and a miscommunication.
Lot of job opportunities to migrate within the organization's various departments for which to become eligible an employee should work for at least 18 months in the organization.
Very safe and decent work environment for women employees and also pick up and drop facilities are provided for shifts.

RBS had begun to size down its global operations in various locations and had sourced the entire work to India as it helps them to cut down costs and increase profit.
To put that in other way it is simply exploiting people as they pay not even one-third of what they paid for an average U.K. employee when compared to an Indian and also an average Indian employee works twice and spends an addition of 4 hours everyday when compared to an U.K. employee.
You have to sit with the computer for more than 12 hours in a day with only 30 minute lunch break and no other breaks in between.
No human value and most of the low level and middle level management are dominated by women employees.
Due to too much of lighting in the work environment I got Computer vision syndrome and almost one-third of employees at lower level suffer from various eye problems about which the top management never cared for.
Very poor remuneration, I even remember one of my colleagues who was a senior employee with more than 3 years of experience was given an appraisal of 150 rupees.
Onsite opportunities are very less.
