NEVER BACK DOWN from confrontation, or you will be marked as weak, and tormented by others in order to divert their shortcomings. Bosses personal relationships with "old timers", will prevent you from getting credit for new ideas, because new ideas ARE NOT ALLOWED. Credit means pay. NEVER attempt to do more than you are asked, or co-workers will label you as a butt kisser, and torment you a little extra that day. In GB`s defense, I guess it used to be a good company, until they went public. Also, people that have been there only job, are over-confident, and lacking in experience. There are other ways to do things! Sometimes faster/better ways. Sometimes. Concerted efforts to make certain individuals look bad is a hobby of some. Majority of employees are descent. Old timers don`t want any change, or to look like they have anything to learn. (that is the truth)
