I joined Wipro Technologies as a fresher in July2009. Training was a mix of fun and tension though clearing the training was not that though. I would rather say most of us learnt a lot in those 2 months than what we did in 4 yrs in Engg. I worked with Wipro for 2yrs. I was into 2 projects during this period. I worked both in Bangalore and Chennai. Campus in Bangalore(Electronic City) was very lively, while Chennai office is kind of a Concrete Jungle. Infrastructure wise both were too good. I was lucky enough to get Good Managers and Great Team Members in both projects, so life was fun with a few hiccups here and there. To be more precise, I had a really cool time in Wipro. Policies in Wipro are also useful, I am currently doing my MBA thanks to the Sabbatical Leave policy in Wipro.

The only thing that was believed to be a weak link was Wipro's salary structure. Many employee's including me were upset when the freshers who joined the company get the same or more salary than people with 1-2 yr experience. Hike in salary was always a miracle. We used to be eagerly waiting for it but it rarely happened. During my entire span of 2.1 years with Wipro. We only had 1 hike that too a month before I took a break from the company for my MBA. This would clearly tell you about our frustration.
